Nature Photography Interests: Birds, birds in flight, animal behaiour, mammals, their habitat and all things associated in the natural world. Always trying to capture that 'fleeting moment'...that glimpse into an animals' behaviour that few will ever see.

I am inspired by: Light inspires me and every day brings a new experience. When I'm teaching I get a real buzz when a student gets that 'Light Bulb' moment: Then I know that it's all worthwhile. So it's my students that truly inspire me. Sharing knowledge is so important.

I have had work published in: Commercial US and EU print media and published competition and prize winner. Work published for posters, flyers, illustrated articles, the RSPB, social media, advertising and video image presentations. I'm also a Shutterstock photographer.

How would you best describe your personal style: Trying to tell a story with my images and trying to contextualize the animals I photograph in their habitat. Always trying to predict an animals behaviour before I take the shot and, most of all, being proactive rather than reactive.
