Congratulations to Christopher May with his image entitled "The Wild Atlantic Way ". Christopher from Tralee, County Kerry has won 6 months membership to The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers.

Christopher explains his image

"I set up a manfrotto heavy weight tripod just where the waves ended up on the beach and waited for the breaks. It took about two hours to get this shot. The wind was gusting at 150 KMph and it was in and out of the rain. A break in the cloud allowed a little sunlight to illuminate the shot and I suspect this is what made it special. The location is where I live and work, so it is a very local shot."
