I'm based in Co. Durham. Along with Northumberland the North East of England is commonly referred to as Northumbria, and is a beautiful part of the UK ranging from the beautiful coastline to the rugged countryside of the Pennines. It's an area steeped in history with Castles, Cathedrals and many more areas to explore.

Nature abounds with the Farne Islands home to thousands of seabirds and a thriving seal colony. Kielder Water is home to Osprey and the in the Derwent Valley you will often see Red Kite.

I've been taking photographs since the 1970s . My work has been in company calendars and exhibitions. I also sell online.
